Bedfordshire lace collar, inspired by autumn leaves in a local arboretum.
This was worked for my City and Guilds Diploma, and used threads which I hand dyed before using in the lace. Each leaf is a different colour to its neighbour, representing the fallen leaves in autumn. The design is asymmetrical, reflecting on the random nature of the leaves.
